Crew Leaders

Crew leaders will lead a small group of 8-10 students throughout the week. Crew Leaders will connect, lead, and motivate their work crew to complete the work project assigned.

Time Commitment: Crew Leaders are expected to participate in the entirety of the LOVE OKC Student Conference.

Section Leaders

Section leaders oversee a group of work crews. Section leaders drive to their assigned work crews everyday to troubleshoot, encourage, help in any way, get needed supplies, haul off trash, and drop off/pick up ladders daily.

Time Commitment: 8am-4pm (Monday-Wednesday). This position requires you to be there everyday.

Requirements: Good at basic handyman skills, be on time, have a truck that can pull a trailer, and able to keep up and turn in receipts.

Free Time Volunteers

Free Time Volunteers help during the free time portion of the afternoon at the Oklahoma Christian University campus. During this time, students can play volleyball, basketball, swim, and do other activities. Free Time Volunteers hang out with students, make sure they get to dinner on time, and make sure buses are loaded at the right time.

Time Commitment: 3:45-7:30pm (Monday-Wednesday) at Oklahoma Christian University.

Prep Work Volunteers

Prep work volunteers will do light construction on the work sites BEFORE the LOVE OKC Student Conference starts. These jobs (carpentry, replace siding, etc.) should be done by adults who know what they are doing, not students. Prep crew will do their assigned projects on their own time, but should work with a group.

Time Commitment: You set your own time to finish your assigned projects before the LOVE OKC Student Conference starts.

Greeter Volunteers

Greeters are at morning and evening experiences at NORTHchurch. They have energy, smile, greet and hold doors for students and leaders who are attending experiences. Greeters are also in charge of making sure the bathrooms are kept neat and stocked during the duration of the conference.

Time Commitment: 7:00-9:30pm (Sunday-Wednesday)

Lunch Volunteers

The lunch volunteers prepare lunches daily for every participant of LOVE OKC Student Conference that are painting houses throughout the city.

Time Commitment: 9:00-11:30am (Monday-Wednesday) at NORTHchurch

Food Delivery Volunteers

Food Delivery Team delivers lunches to different crews in designated areas throughout the city.

Time Commitment: 11:30am-1:00pm (Monday-Wednesday)

Parking Volunteers

Parking Team will help with overall parking during nightly worship experiences at NORTHchurch.

Time Commitment: 7:00-9:30pm (Sunday-Wednesday)

Usher Volunteers

Ushers help with seating, directing, and serving during the nightly worship experiences.

Time Commitment: 7:00-9:30pm (Sunday-Wednesday)

Security Volunteers

The security team helps with the overall security of the NORTHchurch campus during nightly worship experiences.

Time Commitment: 7:00-9:30pm (Sunday-Wednesday)

Concession Volunteers

The concessions team helps with selling candy, chips, drinks, and any other items after the nightly worship experiences at NORTHchurch.

Time Commitment: 9:00-10:00pm (Sunday-Wednesday)

Medical Volunteers

Medical team members will work in shifts daily to help with any medical issues that may arise throughout the LOVE OKC Student Conference. Medical Team members will keep post at NORTHchurch during the duration of the conference and day, and will be ready and available to assist if a medical issue occurs.

Time Commitment: Shifts will be scheduled according to availability (Sunday – Wednesday)

Administrative Volunteers

Administrative team members are used for pre, during, and post LOVE OKC Student Conference. Administrative volunteers are encouraged to give any time that they have available to help the LOVE OKC Student Conference.
